It really can be that simple. Certainly there are such people in the church, but there are such people in any organization, and I would challenge you to remember that the members are also individuals with thoughts, feelings and the ability to rebel in their own ways. And your needs essentially have to be silenced a lot of the times. Oh, and remember LDS girls are usually good at leading guys on with potential sex to get guys to agree to what they want join the church. I volunteer every week, I put others before myself, etc. I would not want my children raised Mormon which she seems intent on.
